And even more stairs

Just because no steps are marked on the map does not mean that there are none. And so we had to climb many steps, stairs and ladders to enjoy the most beautiful views.

When we left at 9AM it was still freshly -1,5°C. But the sun was shining and everything was sparkling in the fresh dew. It was just gorgeous.

The temperatures have never risen much higher than 3°C, but the sun and the fresh air were still soothing. If you are always on the move and well dressed, you will not freeze.

The countless steps up and down to and from the viewpoints have paid off. Beautiful views have been presented us. Even though I told myself after the Heiligen Stiege to stop doing that, I’m glad I did have done this.
