When family is visiting, they also want to be engaged in something. So I decided to spend a day hiking the Děčínský Sněžník with them. Even though the motivation of one or the other was not so great (which was more because of the one-hour trip than the hiking itself), the enthusiasm for the view into the Central Bohemian Uplands was even greater.
With 20 km from the previous day in the legs, just another 30 km covered. Finally this limit has been achieved. In addition, in a fairy tale forest where you can see the fairies dancing, who definitely deserves his name, the Bohemian Paradise. A forest like a fairy tail book decorated with castles and ruins.
I had laid out a route of 30 km. However, one should choose his companionship wise. I had not achieved the actual goal to find out how far I can go, but it was also very nice for the first time not to be hiking alone. But at least for the first time I could cross the 20 km border.
Back in my homeland, a sleepless morning and relatives who love to hike have made sure that I put on my hiking boots twice that day. For years livinged there, but discovering for the first time on foot. While I looked at the Jurapark early in the morning, we left in the afternoon to explore the forest around Liebburg. This also resulted in a beautiful view of Lake Constance.
Since I’ve read about the Blaník and its storied history, I wanted to go there. Something in me cried out to go there. First, the trip seemed to be rained off because of bad weather, but on this Saturday morning the weather had changed spontaneously so I got myself on the track of old legends. The hike ended with the last 2 km in a heavly rainfall, but it was still very nice. Not only the ascent on the big Blaník and the small Blaník, which is still adorned by a ruin, also the nature reserve therefore shows itself from the most beautiful side.
You don’t always have to go far away to discover beautiful places. The Tharandt Forest itself offers just as beautiful corners and as our local forest not too far away.
“The ascent is not that easy, but the view is very nice” – and that was exactly what I got. The view into the Central Bohemian Uplands range is just wonderful.
If you want to be back at 9AM for breakfast, you have to keep up. So I left early at 5AM, after a more or less sleepless night, and looked at the sunrise on my way to a beautiful forest.
After a night full of no sleep, I just spontaneously started walking and surrounded the Zadar peninsula. Early in the morning at 4AM. To swim early at 6AM already for the first time in the ocean. On the way, I met people from the last party, who were just going home.
